Overall, this course successfully helped me learn about the systematic approach to action research and provided the necessary structure to guide me in developing and implementing my own action research study. I have a friend who is also going through a master’s program in educational leadership at another university and her course plan does not contain action research in the first part of the program. I feel that the placement of this course early in Lamar’s course plan will better help me prepare to become an educational leader. Thank you Lamar University for facilitating a meaningful learning experience.
